Description
EF has 40 years of experience in language education. The
student will be able to experience the American student
life in the magnificent campus of the Mills College in
Oakland, place where the international center EF of English
has been in activity since 1989. The campus offers swimming
pool, gymnasium, tennis courts as well as an excellent
library. Mills College is near Berkeley and San Francisco.
Lodging
The standard lodging of EF is a double room in a family
house. Throughout the years, EF has built a family houses
network that receive students, which provides an extra
security for those travelers with little experience, and
a safe base from where to explore the city.
Academics
EF has 2 to 52 weeks long programs, with levels that go
from basic to intensive, with special exam preparation
courses or English for business. It also provides options
with internship and university preparation. Among their
new courses there is EF MBE (Master Business English):
this allow the student in the long term to obtain global
commercial fluidity with a combination of studies of English,
a specialized program based on the study by cases method
of the Harvard Business School Publishing and an internship.
Activities
The EF Activities Directors plan tourist strolls, shopping
tours, costume parties and trivia pursuit: there is always
something to do after classes.
