Description
The Lynn University was founded on 1962. It is a private
university of academic excellence, located in Boca Raton,
in the exclusive Golden Coast of Florida, between Palm
Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The university prepares students
for different careers, such as Business Administration,
International Business, Education, Administration, Sports
and Recreation, Communications, Arts and Sciences, Humanities
and Health Care Administration.
Lodging
The students can live in the university residence and
eat in the student dining room. They can also choose to
rent an apartment outside the campus.
Academics
The Intensive English Training program provides an opportunity
to professionals and international students to improve
their English. The students can choose between four programs:
General English, English for Academic Purposes, English
for Business and American Culture, as well as short-term
English for Business courses for professionals and English
as a Second Language. There are five levels, with 25 hours
per week. There are also TOEFL preparation courses.
Activities
The Lynn University offers a plan of social and cultural
activities, and the possibility to use the university
facilities like the gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts,
library, computer labs, indoors sports, dining room and
the bus service.
