Description
Wichita State University (WSU) is a public university
that has been receiving international students for more
than 75 years. WSU is a national university with business
programs fully credited. Besides, the life cost in Wichita
is very low in comparison with other cities.
Lodging
The University offers private lodging in residence rooms
in the campus or in apartments.
Academics
The Intensive English Language Center is a program founded
on 1976. The Program consists of six levels (from beginner
to advanced), and each level takes 8 weeks to be completed.
The instruction takes 25 hours per week (5 hours every
day). The classes include reading, writing, conversation
and structure understanding (English Grammar). There are
optional classes available: TOEFL Preparation and Pronunciation.
Activities
The University organizes activities for the students,
including tours to museums, parks, sports, festivals,
cultural celebrations, and much more. It is also possible
to use its sport resort, basketball, baseball and softball
courts, a stadium with racing tracks, bowling, an 18 holes
golf court and a huge tennis resort.
