Description
EF has 40 years of experience in language education. Its
North American educative center is in Boston. It is located
only 15 minutes away from the city downtown, in an big
building with playroom and a cafeteria. The student will
be able to practice volleyball or badminton, or to enjoy
the YMCA facilities just few minutes away.
Lodging
The EF standard lodging is a double room in a family house.
During the years, EF has built a network of family houses
that receive students, which provides an extra security
for those travelers with little experience, and a safe
base from where to explore the city.
Academics
EF has 2 to 52 weeks long programs, with levels that go
from basic to intensive, with special exam preparation
courses or English for business. It also provides options
with internship and university preparation. Among their
new courses there is the MBE (Master Business English):
this allows the student to obtain global commercial fluidity
with a combination of English studies in the long term,
a specialized program based on the study by cases method
of the Harvard Business School Publishing and an internship.
Activities
The EF Activities Directors plan strolls, shopping tours,
costume parties and trivia pursuit: there is always something
to do after classes.
