Central Missouri State University
Description
Central Missouri State University was established as a
normal university in 1871. It is located in Warrensburg,
Missouri, a community of approximately 20.000 people located
55 miles to the southeast of the metropolitan Kansas City.
Lodging
The university offers lodging in its campus. There are
also available apartments near the university at different
prices.
Academics
The English Language Center (ELC) program offers intensive
and full time instruction for the study of the English
language. The program includes a basic plan of academic
preparation on reading, writing, grammar, American culture,
communication and test techniques. A test is taken to
determine the level of the just arrived student. There
are 6 levels of English instruction, all between 24 and
28 hours per week.
Activities
The university offers a variety of multicultural activities
and tours.
