University of Missouri - Kansas City
Description
The University of Missouri-Kansas City is located in a
beautiful metropolitan campus just in the center of the
United States. The city of Kansas has a mixture of hospitality,
characteristic of the small cities, and a cosmopolitan
atmosphere, typical of the biggest cities. The life cost
is lower than in any other American city, including the
lodging, feeding and transport costs.
Lodging
At the beginning of the courses, the students are lodged
by a temporary host family. Soon, they can choose between
lodging in the campus in any of the dorms, or renting
an apartment outside the university.
Academics
The Intensive English Program consists of 3 levels, divided
between long and short courses. Both fill 20 hours per
week. There are also exam preparation courses for TOEFL.
