Description
Pierce College is an educative institution with two years
programs known by its high quality education and its cozy
atmosphere. It is located in the state of Washington,
close to Seattle and the harbor city of Tacoma. Only one
hour away from the college the student can find beautiful
national parks, the Pacific Ocean, golf fields and places
to practice ski and snow activities. This institution
offers a pleasant atmosphere for those students who doesn’t
yet decide their specialization field and to those who
does not have yet the TOEFL score required by most of
the American universities.
Lodging
The foreign students can contact the International Programs
Office, which will help them to find a lodging that satisfies
their needs. Among the possibilities, they can choose
to live with a host family, to rent an apartment in a
safe and calm place in the neighborhoods of the campus,
or to share an apartment with another student.
Academic
The school offers intensive ESL programs, and an intensive
setup program for college. The courses have 18 weekly
hours of oral comprehension, conversation, composition,
grammar, reading, American culture, pronunciation and
TOEFL.
