The
wide American territory is full of amazing places
that will astonish the tourist. The places to visit
are too many, so here’s a short list with
some of the most interesting sites of the country.
Las Vegas, Nevada
The biggest entertainment park for grown ups in
the world, offers betting games and incredibly outlandish
architecture, with giant glass pyramids, fantasy
multicolored castles, an Eiffel Tower replica and
the New York skyline over the Nevada desert. The
city is also properly located near some of the biggest
natural scenarios of the American west, as the Great
Zion Canyon and the Death Valley.
Orlando, Florida
Here are the biggest amusement parks of the world.
Among other great thematic parks: Disney World,
the Universal Studios, and Sea World, plus hundreds
of other attractions and smaller entertainment centers.
The visitor can spend weeks in Orlando without seeing
it everything. By the way, Florida also offers wonderful
tropical beaches.
New York
This is the greatest metropolitan center in the
United States. Also known as "the Big Apple",
is famous by the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State,
its many museums, restaurants and theaters (especially
those of Broadway), the noisy Times Square, his
moving nightlife and all the shopping that can be
done.
Hawaii
In the center of the Pacific Ocean there’s
a chain of volcanic islands, a true tropical paradise
with an almost perfect weather, fantastic beaches
and spectacular landscapes. It is an ideal destiny
to swim, tan, practice surfing, sailing or fishing,
aside from being the favorite place for honeymooners.
Los Angeles, California
It is the second biggest city of the United States
and the greatest metropolitan center in the west
coast. It includes many different communities as
Hollywood, home of movie producers and Beverly Hills,
home of the film stars. L.A. has a nice subtropical
weather with many miles of white sand beaches and
the famous "California Surf". It’s
properly located near many attractions, such as
the spectacular coastal line of the Big South, the
Sierra Nevada mountains and the rough and austere
beauty of the Mojave desert. It’s only half

Great Canyon National
Park, Arizona
This park is one of the greatest natural wonders
in the world. Its has a kilometer and a half depth
and 20 kilometers wide extend throughout 150 kilometers,
with the interior adorned with an extensive labyrinth
of multicolor plateaus, ravines and promontories
scored by a myriad of smaller canyons and ravines.
The constant light and shade game in the multicolor
rock layers produces an impressive exhibition.
San Francisco, California
Smaller than Los Angeles and without the attractive
of its tropical beaches, San Francisco is a center
of attraction, by the magic that impregnates its
streets aligned with Victorian houses, and by its
bay surrounded by pastoral mountains, the historical
street cars, and the magnificent Golden Gate framing
the entrance to the Pacific Ocean. The near territories
of the Marinas and the Muir forests provide great

Alaska
It’s located on the Northern border of the
U.S.A. It covers an extensive area, from the Pacific
coast forest to the tundra beyond the Arctic Circle.
The forests and streams have a rich local fauna,
including the fascinating but dangerous Kodiak bears.
The snow-covered glaciers and tips provide many
spectacular landscapes. Most of Alaska is inaccessible,
except through small air taxis, by canoe or walking.
This is a popular place for hunters, fishermen,
photographers and nature explorers.
National Park Yosemite,
California
Granite cliffs with near a dozen cascades surround
the glacial and eroded Yosemite Valley. This immense
park has forests of giant sequoia trees, alpine
fields and snow-covered tips. It is a paradise for
rock climbers, backpackers, campers, photographers

Washington DC
Capital of the U.S.A., this is a beautiful city
with many monument, museums, public parks, the White
House, the Capitol and many other governmental buildings.
Washington has a diverse population and a lot of
ethnic restaurants. It’s located just one
hour away of the harbor city of Baltimore and a
half day trip from the city of New York.
New Orleans, Louisiana
It is the most European city of the U.S.A. The Spanish
and French cultures mix with the Afro-American inheritance
and the Caribbean influences shape this exotic city
in the mouth of the Mississippi River. New Orleans
is famous for the Jazz, its eager nightlife and
its fine Cajun gastronomy. Every February, the entire
city goes crazy by the carnival celebration known
as Mardi Gras. Tourists meet in New Orleans all
the year to savor the magnificent food and to enjoy
its nightlife.
National Park Yellowstone,
Wyoming
Geysers, hot waters, and thermal phenomena are some
of the wonders offered by this huge National Park.
The local fauna is composed by bisons, elks, bears
and a lot of smaller animals. It has vast extensions
of desert, but many of the main attractions are
easily accessible from the highways. Yellowstone
is near the Grand Teton National Park, the Rocky
Mountains and the great opened spaces of Montana.
