Considered one of the best US universities, the Loyola
University in Chicago is an independent Jesuitic university.
The facilities include campus libraries, computer labs,
multimedia classrooms, cafeterias, resting areas for students,
and sport and recreation centers.

Academics
The Loyola English as second language program (ESL) is
a rigorous and intensive program that prepares students
for the university and their professional careers. Classes
with few students, individualized attention, qualified
instructors and a carefully planned study program make
a fast progress possible. Located in the Water Tower campus,
the ESL department facilities include a language lab,
multimedia classrooms, study and meeting areas. The intensive
program offers intermediate, advanced and highly advanced
(University skills) levels. Each level consists on a semester
of 15 weeks with 20 hours per week. All the skills are
developed (speaking, listening, writing, reading) according
to a coordinated study program.
Activities
Near the university, on the North Michigan Avenue, Water
Tower is the heart of the prestigious Chicago "Magnificent
Mile" - here are consulates, stores and tourism offices.
Near this street, there are entertainment areas, live
jazz and blues bands, movie theaters, art galleries, museums,
beaches, coffees, etc. It will also find the Chicago Art
Institute, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, sports courts
and the downtown theaters zone.
