Description
The State University of New York (SUNY) in Plattsburgh
is a university with four years training programs totally
credited. The university is located in a safe and attractive
community of 22.000 inhabitants, 100 km to the south of
Montreal and 500 km of the cities of New York and Boston.
Located between the New York Adirondack Mountains and
the Green Mountains in Vermont and next to the borders
of the Champlain Lake, Plattsburgh is considered one of
the most beautiful places in the United States.
Lodging
The students can lodge in the campus dorms or rent an
apartment near the University.
Academics
The English as second language courses (ESL) develop the
conversation, listening, reading and writing comprehension
at a proportional level with the academic studies of the
university. These classes help the students to improve
his grammar and writing skills and also to look for students
who dominate these areas. These students also improve
the results of the TOEFL examination.
Activities
The university offers special activities for the students.
Those wishing to know the surroundings, from Plattsburgh
will be able to have easy access to Montreal, New York
and Burlington, Vermont.
