Description
Temple University is located in Philadelphia, and is one
of the three public universities of Pennsylvania. It is
composed by 5 regional campuses, as well as international
campuses in Tokyo, Japan, and in Rome, Italy.
Lodging
IELP reserves rooms and apartments in the Temple University
and can offer to the students host homes programs.
Academic
The intensive English Program of the Temple University
offers 20 hours per week with six levels, from beginner
to advanced, and an average of 10 to 15 students per class.
The program focuses in academic abilities such as reading,
oral and written comprehension, beside to continue developing
the language skills through content courses.
Activities
IELP organizes excursions, events and activities in which
the students can know the cultural and social aspects
of their host country. The excursions for a day include
trips to Washington DC, New York City and the Lancaster
County and skiing in the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains.
In the local area, the students can visit the museums,
go to sport and musical events, go shopping and make architectonic
trips to the city of Philadelphia, always with a guide.
